Incoming Oklahoma resident freshmen can use this form to apply for the following scholarships:
Oklahoma Academic (Automatic Qualifier) -- National ACT 33 or above with a cut score of 134 or above)
Full Tuition waiver, semi-private room waiver ($950) and $2000 per semester for four years.
Regent Baccalaureate (National ACT 30 and have above a 3.0 GPA)
Full tuition waiver, semi-private room waiver ($950) and $1500 per semester for four years. 15 available.
Oklahoma Academic (Institutional Nominee with a National ACT 30 or if less than an ACT 30 have above or a 3.8 GPA or above and in the top 4% of their graduating class or a 3.8 GPA or above and first or second in their graduation class.
Full Tuition waiver, semi-private room waiver ($950), book voucher (amount determined by the ECU Foundation) and $1000 per semester for four years. 5 available.
Presidential Plus (ACT 28 or above and 3.0 GPA)
Full Tuition waiver and semi-private room waiver ($950) per semester for four years.
President's Leadership Class (ACT 22 or above and 3.3 GPA)
The PLC program includes a full tuition waiver and residence hall room waiver ($950) for four years for full-time PLC students who maintain an overall 3.0 GPA. A one-semester credit course on leadership is required. Read more about this opportunity and the 2011 class here.

Presidential with Room (ACT 26 or 27 and 3.0 GPA)
$1600 per year ($800 per semester) tuition waiver and semi-private room waiver ($950) per semester for four years.
Presidential (ACT 25 and 3.0 GPA)
$1600 per year ($800 per semester) tuition waiver for four years.
Deans (ACT 23 or 24 and 3.0 GPA)
$1000 per year ($500 per semester) tuition waiver for one year (must re-apply for a Continuing Student Scholarship after the first year.)
University (ACT 21 or 22 and 3.0 GPA)
$750 per year ($375 per semester) tuition waiver for one year (must re-apply for a Continuing Student Scholarship after the first year.)
Room Waiver (ACT 26 or above)
$881 semi-private room waiver per semester for four years.
Transfer Oklahoma resident students can also use this form to apply for the following scholarships:
- Transfer Scholarship (equivalent to University)
This waiver is available to incoming freshmen, transfer students as well as continuing students. Students MUST live in campus housing to utilize this waiver.
Non-Resident (not a Oklahoma Resident) Student must be admissible to the University, live in campus housing and be enrolled as a full time student. (Full time is 12 hours or more per semester.)
Full waiver of Non-Resident tuition (Students will continue to receive this waiver as long as they maintain a 2.0 retention GPA and live in campus housing.
Students will be exempt from living in campus housing for the following reasons:
- 21 years of age or older
- Have children
- Extenuating Circumstances -- must submit reasons in writing to the Dean of Students.
Note: All fees and meal plans are not included with tuition or room waivers.
The room waiver is equivalent to a semi-private room rate ($848 per semester for this academic year) in our lowest cost residence halls (ex. Briles, Pesagi and Pontotoc Halls) on the campus of ECU.
To continue receiving the four-year scholarship, a student must meet the minimum retention GPA required each year.
To continue receiving the one-year scholarship, a student must re-apply annually.
All scholarships are not automatic and are awarded based on the availability of funds.
Tuition, Fees, Books, Room and Board may increase each academic year.

For juniors/seniors with a 3.5 cumulative GPA and 60 completed hours. Applications are due by March 1st.
For first semester freshmen who have a parent, grandparent or legal guardian that graduated from ECU and is a current dues paying member of the ECU Alumni Association.
