AMERICAN LEGION POST, COLLEGIATE VETERANS OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS 

Two $500 scholarships have been established for East Central University students by the American Legion Post #72 in Ada and ECU's Collegiate Veterans Association.

The scholarships will be awarded each semester to a veteran and non-veteran student. The funds will be designated for the purchase of textbooks up to $500 from the East Central University Bookstore. The scholarship does not apply toward supplies, clothing and other bookstore items.

All applications for the scholarships must be received by June 15 for the fall semester and Nov. 30 for the spring semester. They are available at the American Legion Post #72 or from any Collegiate Veteran member, any Gold Program representative or a member of the Veterans Upward Bound program.
