ECU BEGINNING COMMUNITY EDUCATION CLASSES IN EARLY OCTOBER

Classes in everything from arts and crafts for kids to yoga for adults and violin lessons for both will begin in October through East Central University's Community Education Program.

For information on dates, times and costs, call ECU's Continuing Education Office at 559-5456.

Children's classes range from four to 11 sessions, depending on the activity, and the costs run from $45 to $80. Classes include arts and crafts, Spanish, violin, piano, gymnastics, swimming and dance techniques in ballet, tap and jazz.

Adults can enroll in TherAerobics, scuba diving, yoga, golf, piano, billiards, ceramics, buying and selling on eBay, reverse mortgages, cake decorating and self-hypnosis for self-improvement. There also are private violin lessons plus ballroom and belly dancing and a class on jazz, tap and ballet.

A "Mini Crop" scrapbooking workshop is scheduled as well as dog obedience classes in house and leash training, teaching tricks and solving behavioral problems.
