HANSEN, BAGGECH, HIBLER PERFORMING CONCERT SUNDAY AT AAHC 

Tenor Robert Hansen will be a guest artist in a concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday [MARCH 29] with East Central University music faculty members Dr. Melody Baggech, soprano, and Dr. Starla Hibler, piano.

The concert of English songs, duets and arias will be presented by ECU's Department of Music at the Ada Arts and Heritage Center, 14th and Rennie. Admission is free.

Hansen, a professor of voice at West Texas A&M University, has performed numerous roles in musical theatre and opera and has directed and/or produced more than 60 full productions. He is an active performer with the Amarillo Little Theatre, the Amarillo Opera and Chamber Music Amarillo.

He is the executive director and a past president of the National Opera Association. Hanson received WTAMU's Teaching Excellence Award in 2006 and is listed in the International "Who's Who in Music."
