CREW is committed to establishing student-driven programs, focused on the social, cultural, educational, and recreational growth at East Central University.
CREW serves as the University's official student programming organization. We strive to bring a diverse selection of social, educational, recreational, and cultural events to ECU and the surrounding community. We make every attempt to integrate the input of the student body when making programming decisions. Most importantly, the CREW Programming board provides leadership opportunities outside the classroom which encourages student growth and development.
As, CREW members receive unique experiences developing interpersonal relations, public relations, marketing, advertising and business skills. CREW also provides many opportunities for members to enhance professional growth, develop creativity and to learn about the rich diversity of people on the East Central campus. The experiences gained through any position held on the board, either as an executive or committee member can become a valuable asset when applying for work after graduation. Not only is the experience rewarding, but it's fun!
CREW is comprised of 25 members who voluntarily commit their time to create student life on campus. CREW decides what programs to support, and how their events will take place. CREW members speak with agents representing talent, negotiate contracts and book entertainers. They are responsible for marketing the programs and providing all support for the events. CREW meets every first Tuesday, 4 P. in the CREW workroom.
