'24 WORKS ON PAPER' ON EXHIBIT IN POGUE GALLERY AT ECU

The "24 Works on Paper" exhibition has opened in the Pogue Gallery in East Central University's Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. The exhibit will run through Nov. 30 with a reception at 4 p.m. Admission is free.

The exhibition was assembled by the Individual Artists of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition and was juried by Adrienne Day, a professional artist in Oklahoma City. Her selections constitute the dominant 24 works made on paper in the state over the last two years and include prints, paintings, mixed media and digital images.

The exhibit began at the IAO Gallery in Oklahoma City and is touring the state with stops at the Eleanor Hays Gallery at Northern Oklahoma College, ECU, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Tulsa, Norman and Oklahoma State University.

The selections include work from several noted professional artists as well as emerging artists and students. ECU is represented in the exhibit by Dr. Bradley Jessop, chair of the Art Department, and former student Leslie Waugh- Dallam.

Other artists represented are Betty Wood, Bryan Dahlvang, MJ Alexander, Narciso Arguelles, Sarah Atlee, Nick Bayer, Don Emrick, Michelle Himes McCrory, Dixie Erickson, Romy Owens, Cindy Pauchey, Clarissa Sharp, Trent Lawson and Liz Roth.

The Pogue Gallery is located at 920 E. Main in Ada on the Centennial Plaza.
