Selected to perform in Denver Friday night [FEB. 27] at the American Choral Directors Association Southwestern Division Conference are East Central University students Christina Kushnick of Spiro, Brooke Geisler of Edmond, Christopher Geisler of Little Axe, Caitlin Gray of Ada, Leah Creason of Beggs and Jesse Gordon of Seminole. They, along with Nick Geisler of Little Axe and Luke Smith of Holdenville, not shown, will perform with the SWACDA All-Collegiate Chorus of college-level choral music students from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Louisiana and New Mexico. The ECU singers will begin rehearsals on Wednesday [FEB. 24] in Denver.
East Central University Athletics just started the renovation of the inside of its baseball facility. Soon to be renovated areas include: locker room, coaches' office, equipment room, batting cage and restrooms. Expected completion of the project is mid-spring.
Directors of student programs relocated to Faust Hall at East Central University, pose in the new Student Academic Engagement Center that opened its doors last week. The newly renovated spaces on the first floor in Faust Hall now house the Writing Center, Honors Program, Service Learning Center and Engagement Center. This renovation was funded in part by the Title III Native American Voices grant.
