 Roselynn Simpson (center) of Wetumka holds her plaque after being named the winner of the $750 George Nigh Award at a luncheon Tuesday [APRIL 19] as East Central University’s top graduating senior. She is shown with former Gov. George Nigh (left), finalists Phoebe Barron of Ardmore and Angela Marshall of McAlester and ECU President John Hargrave. Each finalist was allowed to ask Nigh a question before the award was announced. Simpson will begin medical school next fall at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
